Hi everyone, since I haven't had the time post new Chopstick Days comics that often, I'm starting up a new, less-formal,
daily drawing project. Most of the drawings/doodles will be in the same art style as Chopstick Days, but less finalized (a little more rough, not digital, colored, uncleaned lineart, etc). And I'll be posting one or more everyday.
By no means does this mean the end of Chopstick Days, it's just that it takes a long time to draw digitally, color, and post Chopstick Days comics on a regular schedule.
Chopstick Days comics will still be coming out (albeit a little less often), but I'll be posting rough Daily Drawings in the same style everyday. If you're a fan of Chopstick Days and the lack of updates makes you sad, please follow my daily drawings on any of the following sites:Website:

Another reason for starting this project is that I also noticed that ever since I started doing more of my art digitally, I rarely draw on paper at all. I once filled multiple sketchbooks every year... but I haven't filled an entire sketchbook since my first years of college. I've been making excuses for years, but I decided that from now on, I will upload at least one or more drawings a day. There's no particular criteria for a drawing -- they can be random, text-only, insightful, ugly, anything -- as long as I draw them by hand and post at least one per day. If I miss a day, I must post an extra drawing for the previous day.
I've decided to post this on the internet to hold myself accountable; no skipping out because I feel too busy, lazy, or tired. I've also never managed to keep a personal journal before -- this will act as a record of my thoughts, experiences, interactions, random musings...
If you miss Chopstick Days, and you're interested in seeing a little bit of the happenings of my life and the workings of my mind, please feel free to follow along. Thanks, everyone.
